At present, the Vinnytsia Region is one of the largest agricultural and industrial, cultural and historical regions of the independent state of Ukraine.The new region was founded on the 27th of February in 1932 and its territory makes up 4.5 per cent of the territory of state.It is situated in the central part of the Right- Bank Ukraine and borders upon seven regions of Ukraine.

На сегодня Винницкая область наибольшая сельскохозяйственная и промышленная, культурная и историческая область независимой Украины.Новая область была основана 27 февраля 1932 года, и ее территория составляет 4,5 % территории государства.Она расположена в центральной части правобережья Украины и граничит с семерыми регионами Украины.

To the south-west of Vinnytchina, along the river Dniester, the area of 202 kilometres presents the frontier with the Republic Moldova.According to the administrative division, the territory of the region consists of 27 districts and the regional centre consists of 3 municipal districts.The population of Vinnytchina is about 2 million people.Nowadays, Vinnytchina is a region of industry and highly mechanized agriculture, with a scientific basis.During the two recent years Vinnytchina became one of the 5 best regions of independent Ukraine on gross output.According to the gross output of agricultural production, the region takes the second place in the state.

На юго-запад от Винницы, вдоль реки Днестр на протяжении 202 километров, проходит граница с Республикой Молдова.Соответственно административному распределению территория региона состоит из 27 районов, а областной центр состоит из трех городских районов.Население Винницкой обл составляет больше 2 млн человек.Сейчас Винницкая обл. является областью промышленности и высокомеханизированного сельского хозяйства с научной базой.За последние два года Винницкая обл стала одной из пяти лучших областей независимой Украины за выпуском валовой продукции.За выпуском сельскохозяйственной продукции область занимает второе место в стране. Vinnytsia is a city on the Buh river and a region centre since 1932.The total area of the city is 6100 hectars.Its population is 391 700.It is divided into 4 districts.It was first mentioned in historical documents in 1363, as a Lithuanian fortress.

Винница — город, расположенный на берегах Южного Буга, и является областным центром с 1932 г.Город занимает площадь в 6100 гектаров.Число жителей составляет 391 700.Город состоит из четырех районов.

Впервые в исторических документах упоминается в 1363 г. как Литовская крепость.

The settlement gradually developed from a farming village into a manufacturing and trading centre.It became the region’s capital in 1932.Its chief cultural institutions are the Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre, a puppet theatre, a philharmonic society, a literary museum dedicated to M. Kotsiubynsky, who was born in Vinnytsia, and a regional studies museum.The M. Pirogov Museum (established in1947) is just outside the city.The main architectural monuments are the Dominican (1624), Jesuit (1610-1617), and Capuchin (1760) monasteries and the wooden churches of St George (1726) and St Nicholas (1746).Today Vinnytsia is a large industrial and communications centre.Its machine-building and metalworking enterprises produce instruments, radio devices, ball bearings, and tractor parts.The main chemical plants produce superphosphate fertilizers and paint.The large food industry consists of meat-packing, oil and fat processing, canning, and confectionery manufacture.Woodworking and furniture manufacturing make a big contribution to the economy of Ukraine.The city is very green.It has a lot of parks.The city’s educational facilities include 12 technical secondary schools, 3 institutes (pedagogical, polytechnical, and medical), and branches of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy and the Kyiv Trade and Economics Institute.

Поселения постепенно превращалось из сельскохозяйственного села в промышленный и торговый центр.В 1932 г. город стал областным центром.К основным культурным выдающимся памяткам принадлежат украинский музыкально-драматический театр, кукольный театр,филармония, литературный музей, посвященный М. Коцюбинскому, который родился в Винницы, и краеведческий музей.Музей-усадьба М. Пирогова (основанный в 1947 г.) находится сразу за пределами города.К памятникам архитектуры принадлежат Доминиканский (1624 г.), Иезуитский (1610-1617 г.) и Капуцинский (1760 г.) монастыри и деревянные Георгиевская (1726 г.) и Николаевская (1746 г.) церкви.Сейчас Винница — большой промышленный и культурный центр.Предприятия машиностроительной и металлообрабатывающей областей вырабатывают инструменты, радиодетали, шарикоподшипники, тракторные запчасти.Химические заводы делают суперфосфатные удобрения и краску.Пищевая промышленность содержит мясообрабатывающую область, производство масла и жира, консервное и кондитерское производство.Деревообрабатывающая область и производство мебели делают ощутимый взнос в экономику Украины.В городе много зеленые.Здесь много парков.К городским образовательным учреждениям принадлежат 12 техникумов, три вуза (педагогический, политехнический и медицинский) и филиала Украинской сельскохозяйственной академии и Киевского торгово-экономического института. Vinnytsia is an important railway junction.

There is the railway station, two bus stations and an airport there.  Винница — важный железнодорожный узел.Здесь есть железнодорожный вокзал, два автовокзала и аэропорт.
